1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website and services provided by J&N FIRE SOLUTION Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided
We provide fire safety and building compliance services including, but not limited to:
- Fire damper testing and maintenance
- Fire damper remedial works
- Fire stopping installation and remediation
- Fire damper surveys and inspections
- Passive fire protection services
All services are delivered in accordance with applicable UK legislation and standards including:
- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
- Building Regulations (Approved Document B)
- BS 9999
- BS 476 / BS EN fire standards
- Manufacturer installation and testing requirements
3. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change if the scope of work varies from the original quotation.
- Additional work arising from unforeseen site conditions will be charged separately following client approval.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
4. Booking and Access Requirements
Clients must ensure:
- Safe access to all work areas
- Clear access to dampers, service penetrations and fire stopping locations
- Availability of site representatives where required
Delays caused by restricted access, unsafe working conditions, or incomplete site readiness may result in additional charges.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment terms are 7/14/30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late payments may be charged statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
- Providing accurate site information
- Ensuring compliance access requirements are met
- Maintaining building safety systems after service completion
- Acting on any non-compliance recommendations provided in reports
7. Compliance Reports and Certification
- Reports reflect site conditions at the time of inspection or works.
- Certification does not guarantee future compliance if systems are altered or damaged after completion.
- Responsibility for ongoing maintenance and compliance remains with the building owner or duty holder under the Fire Safety Order.
8. Warranty and Workmanship
All workmanship is covered by statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (where applicable). Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied materials and equipment.
Warranty does not cover:
- Third-party modifications
- Improper maintenance
- Mechanical damage
- Normal wear and tear
9. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:
- We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Our liability shall not exceed the total value of the contracted services.
- We are not responsible for hidden defects or inaccessible areas not visible at the time of inspection.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations must be made at least 24–48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
- Late cancellations or failed access may incur a call-out or administration fee.
11. Health and Safety
We operate in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where unsafe site conditions are present.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, reports, branding, documentation, and materials remain the intellectual property of J&N FIRE SOLUTION Ltd and may not be reproduced without written consent.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with:

- Data Protection Act 2018

14. Governing Law
